Happy Halloween!

Halloween time is here, which means the sea of familiarly festive orange and black surround us like white on rice. Halloween is a lucky holiday because the weather is usually cooperative with our activities – whether that be trick-or-treating, pumpkin patch browsing, or carnival going. Contests, costumes, pumpkins and many others are luring us outside to take part in annual festivities, and sometimes we even get candy out of the participation deal!

All this to say, don’t spend Halloween cooped up inside watching scary movies and eating popcorn when you can do that any day of the year. Instead, find out what’s going on in your neighborhood and experience it outdoors! Reconnect with your long lost inner child and go enjoy some apple cider at a local fair or try apple bobbing. Collect beautiful fall leaves to display around a centerpiece for a party, have a date night looking for the most helpless pumpkin to doll up with a smile – anything! Just do something outside where you can connect with nature and observe others’ creativity!
